Recently, actor Shahid Kapoor started shooting for his new project ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ in Tehri, Uttarakhand. Following him, the actor’s ‘Haider’ co-star and actress Shraddha Kapoor joined the team on the sets and was really excited to start the new journey with this one.

And recently, we have caught our hands on a picture direct from the sets of this much anticipated project. This picture has been shared on Twitter which sees Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor having a serious discussion with their director Shree Narayan Singh on the sets. Certainly, after the grand success of Shahid’s last release ‘Padmaavat’, there are sky-high expectations from ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. And without a doubt, having a look at these pictures from the sets, the actor seems to deliver another performance that will yet again surprise his fans with his brilliant acting skills.

According to reports, Shahid will be taking a break from filming and will head to Delhi to join wife Mira and daughter Misha this week. It is for his birthday that falls on February 25. He turns 37 and will be attending a satsang in the river town of Beas along with his family.

Apart from Shahid and Shraddha, the film also stars actress Yami Gautam as the second leading lady, who is yet to join the team.

The film is slated to hit the screens on August 31, 2018.
