‘Bharat’: Here’s how the 1940s were created for the Salman Khan magnum opus

There is no doubt that Salman Khan‘s ‘Bharat’ is the biggest release of this summer. The film has been creating buzz since the past year or so. Finally, fans will get to see Salman portray so many different shades in a single movie this Eid. One of the primary parts of the film is the pre-independence and the partition era. The makers have released a video showing how that era was recreated for celluloid.

The makers of ‘Bharat’ shared a BTS video where they’ve shown the recreation of 1940’s India on the sets of Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’. The film starts its journey with the partition of India and Pakistan. Director Ali Abbas Zafar walks us through the mindset and story behind the creation of this colossal moment in the history of India. Apart from Salman Khan, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi, Sonali Kulkarni and many others. It traces India’s post-independence history from the perspective of a common man and follows his life from the age of 18 to 70 years.

‘Bharat’ is produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd. and Salman Khan Films. It is being presented by T-Series. The film is finally going to hit theatres this Eid.
