Salman Khan, who was last seen in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘ is all set to team up with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar once again for their third collaboration titled ‘Bharat’. It is touted to be one of the most anticipated projects. Recently, there were reports being heard that actors Bobby Deol and Katrina Kaif might star in the film. Bobby is currently shooting along with Salman for ‘Race 3’ and Katrina starred along with the superstar in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

But, putting an end to all the rumours surrounding over the cast of this project ‘Bharat’, Ali has confirmed that the film has only locked the superstar as part of the cast and no one else as of now. The filmmaker took to his Twitter handle to share this news with everyone writing, “The only Cast locked till now is @BeingSalmanKhan in and as #Bharat.” (Also Check: Race 3: Salman Khan, Bobby Deol and Daisy Shah kickstart shooting in Bangkok)

With this, all the rumours can be put to rest.
Talking about the film, ‘Bharat’ is an official remake of the 2014 released Korean drama ‘An Ode To My Father’. The film is planned to be shot in Punjab, Delhi, Abu Dhabi and Spain.
It is jointly produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar and is slated to hit the screens on Eid 2019.
