Disha Patani to master trapeze tricks in less than a month for ‘Bharat’

Gorgeous actress Disha Patani is all set to play with fire. Not in real life but in reel. The actress who is all set to play a trapeze artist in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next ‘Bharat’ has started learning the tricks of the trade for her role. Disha, who is currently basking in the glory of her last release ‘Baaghi 2’, has already begun prep for her upcoming period film.

The actress will be performing pyrotechnics in this Salman Khan starrer. A source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror, “Even though the film spans across decades and ends in the 2000s, Disha’s character won’t age as she is portraying the younger turn of the lot which is set in the 1960s, unlike Salman and Priyanka who will sport five different looks. ‘Bharat’ goes on the floors around 20 July and usually the stunts she is required to perform in the film take years to master but she is to complete training in less than a month.”

Director Ali Abbas Zafar is reportedly in the process of having international trapeze crew on board who will help train Disha for six-hours daily for two weeks. Disha has already started rehearsing for stunts involving fire for the past few days.

Also starring Priyanka Chopra, Tabu and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles, ‘Bharat’ is scheduled to release on Eid next year. The period film is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film, ‘Ode To My Father’
