Akshay Kumar-Led Bhooth Bangla Gets A New Release Date; Film Preponed To THIS Day In April

Balaji Motion Pictures’ upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, has a new release date. The film – which was earlier slated to hit theatres on May 15, 2026, has now been preponed. As per the maker’s most recent social media post, the film will now arrive in cinemas on April 10, 2026.

As per sources, the decision to advance the release is being seen as a strategic move, keeping in mind both audience engagement and Akshay Kumar’s packed theatrical lineup for the year.

Bhooth Bangla, which has been generating steady buzz since its announcement, is expected to showcase Akshay Kumar in a genre-driven entertainer. With the shift in its release date, the makers aim to tap into a favourable theatrical window while avoiding box office congestion. In line with this approach, Akshay Kumar has ensured that each of his films receives a fair theatrical run, allowing audiences ample time to fully engage with its box office journey.

Directed by Priyadarshan and Produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor. Releasing in theatres on April 10, 2026.
