Bhumi Pednekar joins as the female lead in Arjun Kapoor starrer The Lady Killer

In October, actor Arjun Kapoor announced his new movie, The Lady Killer that is filled with thrill, romance, emotions and suspense. The film intrigued many but now the film has gotten its female lead and she is none other than Bhumi Pednekar. The actor took to his Instagram stories and welcomed the killer lady with pun intended as he said, “Put your hands together to welcome this killer lady @bhumipednekar”. Whereas Bhumi who is now onboard said that she is nervous as well as excited to work with Arjun in the film.

She wrote on her Insta stories, “#TheLadyKiller. Never done anything like this before. Am Nervous and excited. let’s do this @arjunkapoor @ajaybahl66 sir can’t wait to dig into one of the most complex characters, that’s ever come my way.” Well, Bollywood will see another fresh pair in Arjun and Bhumi and we can’t wait to see more of them onscreen. Arjun will be playing the role of ‘The Ladykiller’ in the intriguing thriller story which is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.

The film is directed by Ajay Bahl.

On the professional front, Arjun Kapoor was last in Sardar Ka Grandson and Bhoot Police. He is now gearing up Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns along with Disha Patani, John Abraham and Tara Sutaria. The film is said to be a sequel to Ek Villain.

Speaking about Bhumi Pednekar, she will be next in Rakshabandhan with Akshay Kumar, Govinda Naam Mera opposite Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani, Badhaai Do alongside Rajkummar Rao.
