Inspired by Ladakh-based engineer Sonam Wangchuk’s (‘3 Idiots’ inspiration) message, Milind Soman has un-installed TikTok application from his phone. Sonam in his message had urged everyone to boycott all Chinese products. He also clearly stated that he doesn’t have any problem with China or its people, he has a problem with its government.

Television actress Kamya Punjabi also joined the campaign and retweeting Milind’s post she wrote, “I never had such apps on my phone. Would like to request all who have commercials attached with such Chinese products to use alternative. Be Indian buy Indian.”

Whereas ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ actor Arshad Warsi took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “I am consciously going to stop using everything that is Chinese. As they are a part of most of the things we use, it will take time but I know, one day I’ll be Chinese free. You should try it too…”

Actor Ranvir Shorey also shares a similar opinion as he tweeted, “Bilkul. Beshaq.#BoycottChina#CKMKB”

‘Dream Girl’ director Raaj Shaandilyaa also urged people to contribute to the nation’s growth by boycotting Chinese products.
