Boney Kapoor Goes Viral for Shedding 26 Kg Without the Gym

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor is surprising everyone not with a new movie this time, but with his impressive weight loss. The producer, who has recently also tried acting, has lost 26 kgs without going to the gym. His photos, showing off his slimmer look in both casual and formal outfits, have gone viral, leaving fans amazed.

People have been curious about how he managed this transformation. Reports say Boney followed a strict daily routine. He skips dinner and only drinks soup at night. For breakfast, he has fruit juice and jawar (sorghum) roti. He did not follow any exercise plan just stuck to a disciplined diet and strong willpower.

Boney spoke openly about his journey last year. Along with losing weight, he also went through a hair transplant. He shared that his late wife, actress Sridevi, used to encourage him to lose weight first and then consider fixing his hair. “My wife Sri used to tell me, ‘Boney, first lose weight then fix your hair,’” he said. At first, others told him that staying bald was lucky, like director Yash Chopra, so he waited. Later, he decided to go for the hair transplant, getting about 6,000 hair strands implanted in just three days.

The biggest reason behind his lifestyle change, Boney says, was Sridevi’s advice. Her words stayed with him, and he was able to lose 14 kgs just by dieting. He admitted exercising is hard for him, but he still managed to lose the weight.

In a funny moment, Boney shared a secret from his daughter: “She said mom thought after the transplant, you’d become a better-looking person” he laughed.
