Brahmastra release postpone

Ever since director Ayan Mukerji made his debut on social media platform Instagram, he has been treating the audiences with animated stills and other things related to his upcoming movie ‘Brahmastra. In fact, his first picture on Instagram was an animated still of the movie. Last year, Karan Johar took to his Twitter handle to announce that the movie will release this year in Christmas. But today Ayan took to his Instagram handle to announce that the release of the movie has now been pushed to 2020.

Ayan posted a picture of his statement where it is written that now the movie will be releasing in summer 2020; the reason being the VFX team needs more time to get the VFX right along with the sound and music. Ayan also wrote in his statement that he will announce the date once it is certain.

‘Brahmastra’s first logo and first look were unveiled at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh during the Kumbh festivities. This movie is Ayan’s dream project and he has worked in this project for eight long years. He makes every movie with full dedication. His earlier movies like ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ were raved by the audiences.

The movie will see Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor together on-screen for the first time. It also has Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Telugu superstar Nagarjuna among others.
