In some fresh news coming in the Supreme Court of India has dismissed a PIL filed seeking a nationwide stay on the release of ‘Padmavati’. The court stated that the Censor Board should take an independent view over the issue. The court added that it can’t substitute the role of CBFC as the movie is yet to be certified.

Since the time of inception filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been facing trouble over rumours spread about a dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji. However, on more than one occasion people attached to the film have given out clarifications that no such sequence exists int he film and nor there is a single scene between Deepika and Ranveer shot ever. Director / Producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali who now has been given 24-hour security by Mumbai Police also released a statement 2 days ago regarding the alleged dream sequence and cleared the air. This news comes as a relief for the makers and hopefully, the film will see a smooth release on December 1.
