BREAKING: Sridevi died of accidental drowning and not cardiac arrest. Full report inside

Family members, colleagues and fans of late actress Sridevi await her mortal remains to return to Mumbai one last time. Her family members were supposed to be back with her remains last evening, but thanks to a delay in autopsy, that couldn’t happen. While latest developments suggest they could be back by 7 pm this evening, we’ve learnt of a rather unpleasant update on her legendary beauty’s death.

As per a report on Gulf News, she passed away due to accidental drowning!

However, whether she suffered a cardiac arrest or not is being debated upon. Reportedly, the actress, under influence of alcohol, lost her balance and fell into the bathtub.

 

The report suggests that the information has been revealed by Dubai police, to her family members and the Indian diplomats present there.

To give you a quick recap, a Khaleej Times report narrated the last 15 minutes of Sridevi’s life bwfore she succumbed to death.

She and her husband Boney Kapoor were to go out for a dinner date night. Boney, who had come back to Mumbai from Mohit Marwah’s wedding , flew back to Dubai and reached Jumeirah Emirates Towers with the plan to surprise her. They conversed for about 15 minutes, post which Sridevi went to the washroom while Boney waited outside. Aven after 15 minutes, she didn’t come out. After knocking the door, Boney forced the door to open and found her lying still in the filled bathtub.

“He tried to revive her and when he could not, he called a friend of his. After that, he informed the police at 9pm,” a source told the publication. Later, the actress was pronounced dead.
