Vishal Anand bhisham kohli death

Veteran actor Vishal Anand aka Bhisham Kohli breathed his last on October 4. According to India TV News, the ‘Chalte Chalte’ actor died due to prolonged illness.

Vishal’s real name was Bhisham Kohli. He was popularly known for his film ‘Chalte Chalte’ that released in 1976. The film which was also produced by Vishal starred Simi Garewal opposite him. The songs of this film are still loved by the masses.

A member of Anand family, in his career, Vishal featured in 11 films, producing and directing some of them. Vishal was legendary actor Dev Anand’s nephew. Whereas actor Purab Kohli is Vishal’s nephew.

‘Taxi Driver, ‘Hindustan Ki Kasam’, ‘Kismet’, ‘Dil Se Mile Dil’ and ‘Chalte Chalte’ are some of the films in which Vishal featured. Apparently, Vishal is credited for giving music director, Bappi Lahiri, his big break in Bollywood.
