Cyclone Tauktae causes damage outside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's under construction house; watch

Last lockdown it was cyclone Nisarga and this year cyclone Tauktae wreaked havoc in Mumbai. Extremely heavy rainfall and gusty wind damaged several areas of Mumbai. The vicinity of Ranbir Kapoor and girlfriend Alia Bhatt’s under-construction house in Bandra also witnessed the after-effects of the cyclone. Several trees got uprooted and scattered around the actors’ property. Visuals of the destruction caused by the cyclone are now going viral on social media.

Back in February this year, lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen visiting the site of their under-construction home. On Monday, cyclone Tauktae brought Mumbai to a standstill. Sharing visuals of the damage caused by the cyclone outside the Brahmastra actors’ house, paparazzo Viral Bhayani posted, “Visual outside #ranbirkapoor #aliaabhatt future home and other visuals from Bandra in Mumbai. #CycloneTauktae created a havoc while we were struggling to battle the current covid situation across the country. #mumbairains(sic)”

Apart from Ranbir and Alia, Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow Janak was also affected by the cyclone Tauktae.

On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will be sharing the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan also plays a pivotal role in the film.
