Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash’s anticipatory bail plea gets adjourned

The Narcotics Control Bureau had summoned a lot of suspects in relation to the drug probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput Death case. Celebrities like Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash.

Karishma’s named had reportedly emerged after interrogating the drug peddlers. Later the NCB had raided Prakash’s house and apparently seized some narcotic substances. Karishma had then applied for an anticipatory bail in Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court fearing her arrest.

According to the latest report by New Indian Express, the Karishma’s anticipatory bail plea has been adjourned by the court to November 10. The report also stated that the court has given Karishma interim relief and it has also stated that there will be no “coercive” action taken against her for now. Which means Deepika’s manager cannot be arrested by the NCB. But, special public prosecutor Atul Sarpande mentioned that Prakash will have to co-operate with the NCB over the probe.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik, who is in judicial custody yet also has applied for a fresh new bail plea in the Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Court.
