The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that is currently probing the drug nexus in Bollywood, will now summon Deepika Padukone this week as per a report in Times Now. Also, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor will be called for questioning this week.

NCB is looking into the chats between Karishma, an employee of talent management agency, KWAN, which hinted at the use of banned drugs. Times Now has also reported that the probe agency has also summoned producer Madhu Mantena Verma on September 23. He is also an investor in Kwan.

Times Now has accessed the WhatsApp chats between Deepika and Karishma that date back to October 2017.

In the chats, Deepika asks Karishma, “…Maal you have.” To which, K says, “ I have but at home. I am at Bandra…”

K further says, “I can ask Amit if you want”. D replies, “Yes!! Please.”

“Amit has, he is carrying it,” K says, to which D replies, “hash na. No weed.”

NCB had already arrested Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager Samuel Miranda and domestic help Dipesh Sawant in the drug cartel case. Rhea is currently in the Byculla jail in the women cell.

Earlier, the NCB had confirmed that Rhea Chakraborty confessed that she consumed drugs and also named Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta in her statement.
