The film is expected to stream on the platform from 4 June, making it one of the biggest OTT deals in recent times. Interestingly, the first instalment had reportedly been acquired by Netflix for Rs 85 crore, highlighting the franchise’s rising digital value.

Biggest OTT Deals In Indian Cinema: Film-Wise Digital Rights Acquisition List

SS Rajamouli’s RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, also remains a landmark deal. Its combined digital and satellite rights were reportedly sold for around Rs 325 crore to Zee, making it one of the most expensive post-theatrical deals in Indian cinema at the time.

Another major title is KGF Chapter 2, starring Yash. Following its massive theatrical success, the film was reportedly acquired by Amazon Prime Video for around Rs 320 crore, further strengthening the trend of big-budget OTT acquisitions.

The list continues with Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs 275 crore), Adipurush (Rs 200 crore), Salaar Part 1 (Rs 160 crore), along with upcoming projects like Devara Part 1 and now Dhurandhar 2.
