Aditya Dhar’s wife, Yami Gautam, might be making a special appearance in Dhurandhar The Revenge, potentially joining stars like Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna. After what felt like an agonising wait, the highly anticipated teaser of Dhurandhar The Revenge, the sequel to Dhar’s Dhurandhar, was released online today. However, fans expressed disappointment, as many pointed out that the teaser featuring Ranveer Singh alongside Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan appeared to be a re-edited version of the end credits from the first film. Additionally, Vicky Kaushal’s rumoured cameo was absent, and Akshaye Khanna’s much-discussed flashback scenes as Rehman Dakait were not included.

Amidst this, there’s a new piece of news that could excite fans: Yami Gautam’s potential cameo in the film. During the promotions of their 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike, Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam fell in love. Now, seven years later, rumours suggest that the couple is reuniting professionally, with Yami reportedly set to appear in Dhurandhar 2.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, a source revealed, “Yami’s role is action-packed and plays a crucial part in the story. She has already shot for nearly five days, and even though it’s a cameo, it’s an important role that will leave the audience amazed.”

Dhurandhar: The Revenge Plot

The first instalment, Dhurandhar, centred on Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari. It was played by Ranveer Singh, who infiltrates Karachi’s criminal underworld and Pakistan’s political circuits. It is expected that the second part will delve into the backstory of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi. However, the filmmakers have yet to officially reveal detailed plot information.
