Dilip Kumar No More: Picture of Shah Rukh Khan consoling a shattered Saira Banu is heartbreaking

Mohammed Yusuf Khan aka Dilip Kumar left for the heavenly adobe on Wednesday (July 7). The 98-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago after he complained of breathlessness. He breathed his last today morning. The veteran actor’s family friend Faisal Farooqui confirmed the news of his death. “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,” Faisal tweeted.

The mortal remains of the thespian were taken to his Mumbai residence. The legendary actor’s burial with take place in the evening. Several celebs were snapped at Dilip Kumar’s residence as they arrived to pay their last respects. Dilip’s biggest admirer and superstar Shah Rukh Khan too paid a visit. SRK was seen consoling a heartbroken Saira Banu.

Several prominent celebs and politicians were seen arriving at Dilip Kumar’s residence. News agency ANI shared a few pictures from inside the thespian’s house. In one of those pics, Shah Rukh was seen sitting next to Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu and consoling her. Picture of teary eyed Saira will break your heart.

Shah Rukh was very close to Dilip Kumar and his family. In fact the Naya Daur actor and his wife consider SRK as their own son. Over the years, whenever Dilip Kumar’s health deteriorated, SRK was always by Saira’s side. Helping them in whatever way he could. SRK indeed shared a special bond with the thespian. So losing him all of a sudden has come as a blow for the superstar.
