Veteran actor Dilip Kumar diagnosed with pneumonia; confirms wife Saira Banu

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was admitted in a Mumbai hospital yesterday after he complained of feeling uneasy due to chest pain. The veteran actor’s official Twitter page had confirmed the news by posting, “Saab has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital as he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He’s recuperating. Requesting your duas and prayers. -FF”

Now, recent reports suggest that the ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ actor has been diagnosed with pneumonia. Confirming the news, Dilip’s actress-wife Saira Banu sharing an update about his health told PTI, “He is doing better now. The medical reports are saying a small patch of pneumonia is there. God willing, he will be out of it soon. But he is doing fine.”

Apparently, the actor will also go undergo a thorough body-checkup at the hospital. The actor is responding well to the treatment and should be out of hospital very soon.

The veteran actor has been suffering respiratory issues for quite some time now. The actor who will turn 96 this year, has been in and out of hospitals over the last few years.
