Diljit Dosanjh Quits Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor Co-Starrer No Entry 2; Reason REVEALED- Report

Diljit Dosanjh was excited about working with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, he had creative differences with the team.

Boney Kapoor and his team have been actively working on No Entry 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2005 comedy hit No Entry. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film has been in the news for finalizing its lead cast. While no official announcement has been made yet, reports suggested that Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh were on board for the lead roles.

Diljit Dosanjh Steps Away From No Entry 2

However, in a recent update, it’s now being reported that Diljit Dosanjh has opted out of the project. According to Filmfare, while Diljit was excited about working with Varun and Arjun, he had creative differences with the team. Due to these differences, he decided to step away from the film.

As per Filmfare sources,“Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he’s decided to leave the project because of creative differences.”

Boney Kapoor Clarifies On ‘Creative Difference Claims

Producer Boney Kapoor has issued a clarification on the reports and have stated that there ate no creative differences but date issues. He stated, “Yes, there are date issues, but certainly no creative differences. That is absolutely false. We are trying our best to work the dates out.”

The makers are now expected to look for a replacement for Diljit’s role. It will be interesting to see who joins the cast in his place.

Despite stepping away from No Entry 2, Diljit will still be seen alongside Varun Dhawan in another upcoming film — Border 2, which also stars Sunny Deol in the lead.

Boney Kapoor recently revealed that the long-awaited sequel to the Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, and Bipasha Basu film will finally begin filming in October of this year. Regarding the female leads, there is conjecture that Tamannaah Bhatia would join the roster of celebrities.
