Don 3: THIS actress will not star with Shah Rukh Khan in the third part

Recently, producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed that he and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar are toying with ideas to carry forward their popular franchise ‘Don’. The third instalment temporarily titled ‘Don 3’ will soon be made. Well, this is a good news for everyone who is eagerly waiting for Shah Rukh Khan to return in and as Don.

Recently, reports were being heard that actress Deepika Padukone is likely to replace Priyanka Chopra in the third instalment. Apparently, this step was taken after the alleged fallout between Priyanka and SRK, after which they had decided not to work with each other. But, putting an end to all these rumours of Priyanka being replaced, producer Ritesh Sidhwani has now said that Deepika is not a part of the ‘Don’ franchise.

It was during the media interaction at the success party of his recently released film ‘Fukrey Returns’ when Sidhwani cleared the air by saying, “Deepika is not part of ‘Don’.”

Further, talking about ‘Don’ franchise, Sidhwani added, “We are working on that and very soon we will announce that also.”

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, many would know that ‘Don’ was originally a remake of a cult film of the same name starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the title role.
