‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ gets 12A certificate by British Censors
Sonam Kapoor had a memorable 2018. The ‘Aisha’ actress married the love of her life Anand Ahuja in May 2018. On the professional front, Sonam’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’ became a big hit and got lots of accolades from the critics and audiences alike.
Now, Sonam Kapoor is awaiting her next release ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. The film will see Sonam pairing with her dad Anil Kapoor for the first time on silver screen. This feature film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in pivotal roles.
Now, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ has been awarded a 12A certification with references to discrimination. The approved run time for ‘ELKDTAL’ by British Censors is 120 minutes. The official Twitter handle of British Board of Film Classification wrote, “EK LADKI KO DEKHA TOH AISA LAGA (12A) references to discrimination.”

The Sonam Kapoor starrer deals with a very sensitive topic and talks about the same-sex relationship. Sonam has always championed for basic fundamental rights and she is also a staunch feminist. The actress from time to time gets criticised for making strong opinions but Sonam always raises her voice against discrimination and unfair treatment.
‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Lagga’ has been directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. ‘ELKDTAL’ is slated to release on February 1, 2019.
