International Emmy 2019: ‘Sacred Games’, ‘Lust Stories’ and Radhika Apte bag nomination

Bagging a nomination for International Emmy is not an easy task and now that the list of nominees for 2019 have been announced we have some great news to share. Netflix’s ‘Sacred Games’,  ‘Lust Stories’ and ‘The Remix’ have bagged nomination in the International Emmy Awards. Now isn’t that a great news to start your day with?

And on top of that power-house performer, Radhika Apte too has been nominated in the Best Actress category. The nominations were announced last night.

Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Sacred Games’ has been nominated in the Drama Series, whereas ‘Lust Stories’ has received two nominations i.e one in Television mini-series and other is Radhika Apte being nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in ‘Lust Stories’.

‘Lust Stories’ is an anthology consisting of four films directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar respectively. An excited KJo shared the news on his Twitter handle.

Anurag Kashyap who directed both ‘Lust Stories’ and ‘Sacred Games’ took to his Instagram handle to share the news.

Amazon Prime’s ‘The Remix’ is also nominated for the ‘Best Non-Scripted Entertainment Show’. Emmy, is an American award that recognizes excellence in the television industry. The winners of the nominees will be announced on November 25. So guys just keep your fingers crossed and let’s hope we bring an Emmy home this year.
