Excel Entertainment’s upcoming action thriller Ground Zero is indeed shaping up to be a very significant film. While the makers have kept the audience hooked with its trailer and posters, the film is set to present an unexplored chapter of India’s courage, dignity, and glory. In a historic move, the film is set to have its premiere in Srinagar, Kashmir, today on 18th April. This shall mark the first film premiere in the valley after 38 years. Emraan Hashmi is incredibly grateful to be a part of this remarkable moment and the film, Ground Zero.

Ahead of the grand premiere of Ground Zero in Srinagar, Emraan Hashmi leads the charge in a powerful new avatar. He will be seen as the real-life BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey in the film. He said, “To be back in Kashmir and witness a premiere unfold here after 38 years is nothing short of surreal. I feel incredibly grateful that Ground Zero gets to be a part of this landmark moment. It’s not just a film premiere, it’s a piece of history, and I’m honoured to be part of it.”

Based on a true mission that earned the title of BSF’s best operation in the past 50 years (in 2015), Ground Zero presents a gritty, emotional, and action-packed narrative set against the turbulent backdrop of Kashmir.
