Esha Deol Reveals She Does Not Think Of Herself As Single Mother, Opens Up About Her Dynamic With Bharat Takhtani Post Divorce

Esha Deol announced separation from Bharat Takhtani last year. While she has refrained to comment much on her personal she recently shared how they co-parent daughters Radhya and Miraya. Esha reveals how she does not like the tag of single mother and opens up about dynamics with Bharat Takhtani.

Esha Deol On Single Parenting Radhya And Miraya

In a chat with YouTube channel Mamaraazzi, Esha was asked if “being a single mom was more rewarding or it takes a toll.” To this, Esha shared, “I don’t like to think of myself as a single mother because I don’t behave like one nor do I let the other person behave that way with me. It’s just that in life, sometimes, due to certain things, roles change. And if it doesn’t work out in a certain equation of what two people were at one point, you must take it upon you, especially when you have children, the two mature individuals must take it upon them to work out in another dynamic but keep the unit together for the sake of the children. And that’s exactly what Bharat and I do.”

About Esha-Bharat Divorce

For those unversed, Esha was previously married to Bharat but they parted ways after 11 years of marriage. They are parents to two daughters – Radhya and Miraya. They announced their divorce via a statement shared with Delhi Times that read, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected.”

On the work front, Esha was last seen in Vikram Bhatt’s Tumko Meri Kasam. The film also starred Anupam Kher, Ishwak Singh and Adah Sharma in pivotal roles.
