EXCLUSIVE: Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor on prepping for the baby: The nursery is ready

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have had a dreamy love story that will be one for the ages. It all started when Alia saw her future husband for the first time on the sets of Black and then she manifested their relationship on the couch of Koffee With Karan. The duo then met on the sets of Brahmastra to work together for the first time, and there, their love finally blossomed. It was in April this year that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony, and a few months later, they announced the good news of their first pregnancy with a loved up social media post.

Currently, Alia and Ranbir are basking in the magnificent success of Brahmastra and for that, they got into an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble where they spoke about their love, marriage, baby and the film. While talking about their soon-to-arrive member of the family, the parents-to-be sounded quite excited and shared details of the planning and preparations that they have already done.

While talking about it, Alia said, “Abhi planning to hum log kar hi nahi sakte,” to which Ranbir added, “We have done everything, room ban gaya hai. We have done all the preparations that are required to have before a child but what is going to happen is going to unfold when it happens. It’s like explaining to someone what water is before they have actually gotten into the water. So, it’s something which is impossible. But definitely, for me at least, (it is the) most exciting thing that I am looking forward to.”

Alia, too, shared her feelings about their soon-to-come kid, as she said, “I am a little bit more student like that way. My checklist is ready and I am constantly foreseeing things. But one thing I have learnt from Ranbir is that the experience, no matter how much you prepare, is never going to be, you can never be prepared for it. So, it really just take each day as it comes.”
