In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble the Special Ops actor opened up on his acting break and the challenges he faced in course of his journey.

Karan Tacker said, “Well yeah you know the wait was quite long,  frankly and at the time that you know I sort of stepped back from doing television.  At that time there was only TV or film and  filmmakers weren’t really like sort of welcoming Talent from television. Nobody was launching anybody at that time, so the wait was long. The journey has been tough but it was my choice..”

“Having said that ironically I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this to sir.  I remember sending Manoj Muntashir a message a long time back maybe this is around 2015 2016. I also remember this much later because I went back into our chats and I sent him a message saying sir you write for neeraj sir in terms of and stuff. I sent him a message reminding him can you like make me meet him. The next message after that was him telling me just saw the first episode of special ops and it was really good. So I was like it is so weird that it panned out like the way it did.

Karan Tacker added, “But having said that it was you know uh ironically it was not an offer. I did test for the part for special ops and not one but I did three rounds of screen test with sir. I think it was it was just meant to happen like the way it did.  I believe in all of this in terms of like you know sometimes you do meet people and they come into your life for a certain reason. It’s been amazing and it’s been a great validation to kind of having to work with him again on this project. The journey has been tough but I mean it was my choice.

‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’ is directed by Bhav Dhulia and produced by Neeraj Pandey. It stars Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwary, Ravi Kishan, and Nikita Dutta among others. The crime-drama series is slated to release on November 25, 2022.
