Speaking to Bollywood Bubble host Nayandeep Rakshit, the Sita Ramam actress opened up about her grandmother’s death and how she coped with it.

Rashmika said, “I lost her(grandmother) just before I had gotten into the industry like debuted with my first film. She was someone closest to me in my family. Post losing her,  I realized that my dealing with death is extremely different than what I thought it would be. I thought I’d be drained in tears, not eating,  just disconnected from the world. But surprisingly was angry the only time I genuinely got angry from my heart was when she passed. I didn’t shed a tear you know it was just like so much anger which had built up within me. That’s the only time I dealt with anger, as anger was my defence, with grief, death and everything.

She added, ” I don’t know yaar like maybe tomorrow something else would happen then I don’t know how I’ll react to it. Because this is something which we generally don’t think about. But every time, when I was shooting for the film I used to wonder how I am going to deal about my parents not being here anymore. I don’t know I feel numb about it like I don’t know how to react to it.”

Rashmika Mandanna will soon be seen in Goodbye. She also has Animal co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, a Tamil film Varisu with Vijay. Rashmika also has Pushpa The Rule with Allu Arjun.
