Actor Tiger Shroff has proved his mettle as an actor in his many performances. He has garnered a massive fan base and continues to win hearts even today. Tiger, who made his Bollywood debut with Heropanti is currently gearing up for the release of the sequel of the movie. Shroff sat down with us for a conversation during the promotions of Heropanti 2. The actor opened up about his name and why it was changed. In an exclusive chat with us, Tiger Shroff, who was born Jai Hemant Shroff, revealed why his name changed from Jai to Tiger.

The Heropanti 2 actor told Bollywood Bubble that his name was changed from Jai to Tiger because he used to bite people when he was younger. He said, “Well, the truth is that I used to bite people when I was younger.

Meanwhile, during the interview, Shroff also reacted to critics claiming he does only action movies. The actor spoke on the same and said, “I love that. I love being stereotyped.” He added, “Because, it gives me an identity. And, because of the action genre, people have accepted me. I am very grateful to them.

Talking about Heropanti 2, the movie is directed by Ahmed Khan and is all set to release in theatres on April 29. The movie features Tara Sutaria, Nawazuddin Siddique apart from Tiger. Heropanti 2 is the sequel of the Sabbir Khan-directed movie of the same name. It featured Tiger and Kriti Sanon, who made their Bollywood debuts.

On the work front, the actor also has the movie Ganapath in his kitty. The movie Ganapath is scheduled to release at the end of this year. It also features Kriti Sanon in a key role.
