Farah Khan slammed by Twitterati for her reaction on brother Sajid’s sexual misconduct allegations

Facing the heat of #MeToo movement, Sajid Khan who was accused of inappropriate behaviour and sexual misconduct by several women was dropped as the director of ‘Housefull 4’. Soon after the announcement was made, Sajid’s sister Farah Khan and cousin Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to express their shock and disappointment in Sajid’s alleged behaviour.

Commenting on allegations made on Sajid, Farhan wrote, “I cannot adequately stress how shocked, disappointed and heartbroken I am to read the stories about Sajid’s behaviour. I don’t know how but he will have to find a way to atone for his alleged actions.”

While Farah Khan wrote, “This is a heartbreaking time for my family. We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for.I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt.”

Soon after Farah posted her comment, she was slammed by the Twitterati for her hypocrisy. Netizens questioned her how could she not know about her brother’s deed when the whole industry is aware of it.
