Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar join in for a family get-together with Javed and Shabana: Hum saath saath hain

On Thursday, veteran actor Shabana Azmi shared a family photo on her Instagram. Farhan Akhtar and his wife, Shibani Dandekar, Javed Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar are all smiles in the pic. Javed Akhtar’s first wife, veteran actor Honey Irani also featured in the family photo.

In the photo, Farhan sat close to mom Honey Irani. Shibani was dressed in a white outfit and smiled at the camera. Zoya and Shabana were also dressed in a white outfit. Shabana had her arms around Javed Akhtar who was dressed in a blue kurta. The veteran actor shared the pic along the caption, “Hum saath saath hain”.

Dia Mirza dropped heart emojis on the post. Fans too showered love on them. A fan dropped a comment saying, “And such a talented family! Stay blessed.” Another one commented, “Beautiful pic.” “Great family pic…Ishwar kare aap hamesha saath saath rahein,” wrote a fan. Another fan commented, “God bless you all”. “So sweet,” wrote a fan.

Javed Akhtar was married to writer Honey Irani. The two had Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar. Javed and Honey got separated in 1978. Javed later married Shabana Azmi in 1984. Their latest family pic is proof that they all share a good bond with each other.

On the work front, Shabana will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The Karan Johar directorial also stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra. The upcoming film is slated to release on 28^th April, 2023. Fans are beyond excited for it.

Farhan, on the other hand, who has directed films like the Don series and Lakshya, will be soon directing Jee Le Zaraa. The upcoming film stars Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif.
