Freddy: Kartik Aryan welcomes leading lady Alaya F on set

Rumours were abuzz earlier that Kartik Arayan will be romancing Jawaani Jaaneman debutant Alay F in his next project, Freddy. There was no confirmation on the same as reports had revealed that the actress is in talks. Well, look like it is all confirmed as Kartik recently welcomed his leading lady in Freddy Alaya F on set. Alaya took to her Instagram account and shared the great news with her fans. Kartik as well took to his social media account and shared a picture of Alaya.

Sharing a picture of Alaya cutting her welcome cake, Kartik wrote in the caption, “Welcome @alayaf From
Freddy 🙂 ?(sic)” Alaya took to the comments of the post and wrote, “When did you decide to post this!!!!???”, in another comment she wrote, “Soooooooooo happy to be on board!!????”

Alaya took to her Instagram account and sharing a picture of herself holding the clapboard of Freddy, she wrote in the caption, “Ready for Freddy!? Sooooo happy to be on board with the most wonderful team!?(sic)”

Meanwhile, Talking about Freddy, Kartik had earlier said in a statement, “As an actor, I crave to explore different facades of Entertainment and with Freddy, I’m venturing into an uncharted territory which is both exciting and intriguing in equal measures. I look forward to dwell in the world of Freddy and bring alive this dark romantic thriller. It also marks my first collaboration with a visionary like Ekta Kapoor and creatives forces like Jayu and Shahshanka. Couldn’t have asked for a better team on this new journey.”

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Freddy is produced by Ekta Kapoor in collaboration with Jay Shewakramani.
