Freida Pinto on her secret wedding with Cory Tran during the lockdown: ‘We got married, went home, took a nap’

Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto is all set to welcome her first child with her husband, Cory Tran. She recently enjoyed a baby shower organized by friends and close ones. Pinto even shared pictures on her Instagram, giving everyone a glimpse of how beautiful and happy she looked. It was during the COVID-19 lockdown that Freida secretly got married to her fiancé Cory Tran. The actress recently opened up about the same. And she went on to share details of her secret wedding with Cory.

During her latest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Freida Pinto said she wants to clear the air that she wasn’t planning a big fat Indian wedding. The actress mentioned her dream wedding was going to be something simple and pretty. She said, “I should clear the air. I wasn’t planning a big fat Indian wedding. It was just going to be something pretty and simple…”

The Slumdog Millionaire actress added, “But then Covid happened and it’s still happening and we just realized we were going to be planning this for the rest of our lives and probably never doing it.”

Freida revealed that Cory and she went to the Honda Center in California’s Anaheim and made it official. She said, “Honestly, I have to say if any of you have planned a wedding, you probably know this, I do not want stomach ulcers from planning my own wedding.”

Pinto shared how she had a ‘perfect’ wedding. Talking about the same, she added, “This was perfect! We got married and then we got to go home and take an afternoon nap.”

Meanwhile, Freida announced her pregnancy with a post on Instagram. During the last days of June this year, the actress shared pictures of her flaunting her massive baby bump and Cory caressing it. She made the post and announced that ‘Baby Tran’ is coming this Fall.
