Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his gorgeous wife Gauri Khan are known to host lavish Diwali parties at their palatial home Mannat. But for the past two years, they have been unable to host them due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the festival of Diwali is around the corner the talented interior designer has finally opened up on their plans for this Diwali.

Gauri Khan during a recent interview revealed that she is looking forward to Diwali this year with hubby Shah Rukh Khan and kids Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan.

Talking to NDTV, Gauri Khan said: “We haven’t started yet but yes decorating the house and putting loads of lights and an extra sparkle and really looking forward to Diwali this year.”

She added, “I think, in festivals, you look forward to just the family being together and celebrating something and looking forward to something. If nothing else, just having loads of sweets in the house, gaining some weight and playing cards. It’s just fun being with the family and decorating the house so, I am looking forward to that.”

Gauri is also gearing up for the launch of her reality show Dream Homes With Gauri Khan. She will be revamping celebrity homes. The first episode featured Manish Malhotra. She will also be seen in the popular chat show Koffee with Karan this week, alongside Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has Pathaan co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.  The YRF film also has a cameo by Salman Khan. The Badshah will next be seen in Atlee’s Jawan co-starring Nayanthara. He also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu.
