Gauri, Suhana Khan Celebrate Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji And Karan Johar’s National Award Win; Share Heartfelt Post

After 33 years in the film industry, Shah Rukh Khan has won his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in Jawan. He shares the award with Vikrant Massey. The news was announced on August 1 at a press conference in Delhi by filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker.

SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan expressed how proud they are of him. Gauri also congratulated Rani Mukerji and Karan Johar for their wins at the 71st National Film Awards. She posted on social media saying, “Three of my absolute favourites just WON big. When talent meets goodness, magic happens.”

In a video message, Shah Rukh said the award means more than just success — it’s a reminder that his work matters. He thanked his fans, saying, “This award is for you, as each award is. I would love to spread my arms for you and share my love, but I’m a bit unwell. Keep the popcorn ready — I’ll be back soon.”

The award ceremony also honoured Rani Mukerji as Best Actress for Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani for its entertainment value.

Shah Rukh is currently working on King, directed by Siddharth Anand. He stars alongside Deepika Padukone and Suhana Khan, making it a special project with both family and fan excitement.
