A source told India Today that Ssunita, wife of actor Govinda, has signed her first acting project with Balaji Motion Pictures, produced by Ektaa Kapoor. The yet-untitled film will mark her official Bollywood debut as an actor, with sources confirming that she will be seen in a pivotal role. The 58-year-old will reportedly shoot for about 20 days for the project, further details of which are yet to be revealed.

This development comes at a time when Sunita has been in the public eye for her candid remarks about Bollywood’s 90s era and her relationship with Govinda. Despite being married to the superstar since 1987, she has largely maintained a private life and kept away from the mainstream acting scene.
