Based on Keigo Higashino’s novel The Devotion of Suspect X, Jaane Jaan follows Maya D’Souza, a single mother living a quiet life in Kalimpong whose past comes back to haunt her. When a murder takes place, she finds herself drawn into an increasingly complicated investigation involving a police officer and a neighbour with an unusual understanding of her situation. Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma, the film relies on secrets, calculated moves and psychological tension to unfold its mystery.

Badla

Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla centres on Naina Sethi, a successful businesswoman who wakes up in a hotel room beside the body of her lover and finds herself accused of his murder.
