Hansal Mehta offers help to Ashiesh Roy; urges industry associations to help the ailing actor

Earlier today we all came across the news of television actor Ashiesh Roy being admitted to the ICU. The actor had taken to his social media handle to seek financial help from his fans and followers. Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta has come forward to offer his help. The ‘Shahid’ director also urged industry association to help Roy.

Ashiesh Roy is a known face on television. He has been a part of popular shows like ‘Baa Bahu Aur Baby’, ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’, ‘Remix’, ‘Banegi Apni Baat’, ‘Bymokesh Bakshi’ and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ to name a few. The actor has not been keeping well since the last few months. And today reports of him admitted to ICU surfaced. He sought financial help from his well-wishers through social media.

Now ‘City Lights’ director Hansal Mehta offering his help also urged the industry associations to come forward and provide necessary help to the ailing actor. Tagging Sushant Singh and Ashoke Pandit in his tweet, Mehta wrote, “Actor Ashish Roy (Bond) is seriously ill, on dialysis and in the ICU. He has appealed for financial help on FB. I’m doing all I can to help. Can industry associations also help the ailing actor? (sic)”

After reading Roy’s pleas for financial aid on social media, several celebs like Jyotsna Chandola and writer-producer Vinta Nanda came forward to help him.
