Irrfan Khan’s ‘Hindi Medium’ is breaking all the box office records of many blockbuster films in the country. And now ‘Hindi Medium’ has won the race with Ranbir Kapoor’s blockbuster hit ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ in the global market.

The educational drama currently stands with the grand total of Rs 313.76 crore at the global market and with this business, it has surpassed the lifetime collection of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ which is Rs 311 crore. ‘Hindi Medium’ has already crossed Rs 200 crore mark at the Chinese box office.

‘Hindi Medium’ stars Irrfan Khan, Saba Qamar, Deepak Dobriyal, Amrita Singh and Neha Dhupia in prominent roles.

According to a report in BollywoodLife.com, the director of ‘Hindi Medium’ Saket Chaudhary was quoted as saying, “Whether it is the success of ‘Hindi Medium’ in China or ‘Raid’ doing such phenomenal business here, it only reinforces our belief that a good story is what connects with the audience. For us, the key decisions have been to pick stories that have a universal appeal. These are the fruits of those decisions and we are overwhelmed.”
