Hirav Mehta REACTS To Dhurandhar’s ‘Propaganda’ Label

Dhurandhar has been receiving massive love and strong box office collections, but is also facing criticism from some who call it ‘propaganda’. Responding to the negativity, Hirav Mehta said, “I will tell you, let me give an example. For me, I am getting around 95% love from the audience, so the remaining 5%—a few trolls, a few negative comments, haters—they’re always going to be there. Same with Dhurandhar, despite its huge success, a little backlash or hate is nothing compared to the love and success it’s getting. I mean, just look at the numbers, thousands of CRs in one week. People are watching even if it’s long-form, which is rare these days.”

He further added, “I might not quote it perfectly, but Aditya Dhar sir has clearly said that this film can never be propaganda because it’s not against any particular group or country. It’s against terrorism. If you open your horizon and watch it with an open mind, you’ll see the movie isn’t giving hate to anyone. It’s giving it where it should, to terrorism. No one else is being targeted. So yes, it’s a wonderful movie to watch.”
