Shah Rukh Khan Anushka Sharma Hawayein

‘Hawayein’ from ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, a romantic number crooned by Arijit Singh, was revealed a couple of days back. While the melody and the tunes won our hearts, this isn’t apparently the final version that’s going to be used in the film.

“I remember we shot this song at the end, and whenever Imtiaz asked Dada (Pritam) on this song, Dada said don’t worry, this song I’ll (Shah Rukh Khan will) definitely handle. So I think it’s just come out of love. We are still doing this song for the film, the song is still in progress. The writers, directors, music directors really look at me with a lot of love when a love song comes,” said Shah Rukh Khan.

After reading this, we are curious to find out the further improvisations! (Also Read: Finally! Is this when we’ll get to see the trailer of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’?)

The song was released on Wednesday. July 26 and became the most streamed track within 24 hours of its release on YouTube. Meanwhile, Pritam had recently said to a news agency, “When we released the song, I didn’t know it would become so huge so quickly. Before I even knew it, I was told that it had crossed these massive numbers. I am extremely happy. Thank you for all the love.”

The previous tracks of ‘JHMS’ all depicted different moods. ‘Radha’ was filled with two people newly affectionate towards each other. ‘Beech Beech Mein’ is a groovy number, rather carefree in spirit. SRK and Anushka hopped through the nightclubs of Mumbai while launching this track. In ‘Butterfly’, we found a final confession of love coming from the both. And ‘Safar’ gave us glimpses of a familiar Imtiaz Ali flavour; intense and full of wanderlust.

The film is set to release on August 4, 2017.
