Fighter: Hrithik Roshan & Deepika Padukone starrer finally gets a release date

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer, Fighter is one of the most-anticipated movies. This is the first time Deepika and Hrithik will be sharing the screen space. It is directed by War fame Siddharth Anand. The film has got a release date. It is all set to release on Republic Day i.e on January 26, 2023. It was earlier slated to hit the theatres in 2022.

Viacom18 Studios has released a statement where they has officially announced the release date of Fighter. The statement read: “Viacom18 Studios today announced that the theatrical release of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’ has been set to Republic Day – 26^th January, 2023. An ode to the valour of the Indian Air Force, the film will have Hrithik Roshan essaying the role of an ace Indian Air Force pilot. Fighter will be Directed by Siddharth Anand and Produced by Ajit Andhare (Viacom18 Studios), Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb and Anku Pande.”

Deepika and Hrithik had already started prepping for the film. It was in July, Hrithik posted few pictures of the team Fighter that also featured Deepika Padukone, director Siddharth Anand in it. “This gang is ready to take off.#Fighter,” he captioned the pictures.

Presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, Fighter is India’s first aerial action franchise that is designed for the global audience. The movie will see latest filming techniques and will be shot at locations across the world.

Siddharth had earlier told BT that Fighter is his most ambitious film yet and he is glad to have someone with Ajit Andhare’s vision and passion to be partnering this film with him. “This film is our attempt to create not only the first aerial action franchise in India but also put Indian films on the map for action-loving global theatrical audiences,” said Anand.
