Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR Starrer War 2 Telugu Rights Acquired For Rs 80 Cr – Report

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2 is one of the most awaited Bollywood films of the year, directed by Siddharth Anand. It is also a part of YRF’s Spy Universe. The teaser for War 2 was released on Jr NTR’s birthday. Recently, the makers shared character posters of Hrithik, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, adding to the excitement.

Hrithik Roshan And Jr NTR Set For A Blockbuster

The latest update is about the Telugu rights of the film. According to a report by Gulte, Sithara Entertainments, led by Naga Vamsi, has bought the Telugu theatrical rights of War 2 for a reported Rs 80 crore. Initially, the price was quoted at Rs 100 crore, but the deal was finalised at a lower amount. Yash Raj Films was planning to handle the distribution themselves but later partnered with a local distributor due to Jr NTR’s strong fanbase in the Telugu states.

Sithara Entertainments had earlier purchased the Telugu rights of Devara, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, reportedly for Rs 120 crore. Their continued interest in Jr NTR’s films shows his growing popularity.

War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji, who is known for popular films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra. In the film, Hrithik Roshan returns as Kabir, a spy. He is joined by Kiara Advani and Jr NTR in important roles. The first film featured Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor alongside Hrithik.
