Hrithik Roshan gets emotional when a teacher tried to break a stuttering student’s morale

Hrithik Roshan has openly shared that since the age of six he used to stammer a lot. However, over the time he overcame stammering and today he is one of the most sought after actor in Bollywood. The ‘Super 30’ actor recently lashed out a professor for breaking the morale of one of his stuttering student.

A Twitter user identified as Marium Zulfiqar, sharing the problem of her cousin (who has stuttering issues) wrote, “My cousin who has a stuttering issue, was giving a presentation in his class when the HOD/ lecturer told him *if u cannot speak properly maybe u shouldn’t study* in front of the entire class. He hasn’t come out of his room since this incident(sic).”

Responding to Marium’s tweet, Hrithik wrote, “Please tell your cousin that that professor and his judgement both are irrelevant. Stuttering should never hold him back from dreaming BIG! Tell him it’s NOT his fault and it’s NOT something he needs to be ashamed of. People who shame him are no better than brainless monkeys(sic).”

Marium also added that her cousin is very upset ever since his professor made a comment on his stuttering. She further added, “The next day my cousin went back to him to ask if the teacher is not happy with his performance, he can repeat the course or something & the HOD replied with *beta me apko apke bhally k lye Keh raha hun k ap padhai chod do* HOW CAN SOMEONE SAY THAT TO SOMEONE WITH INBORN DISABILITY??(sic)”

Hrithik himself has faced a similar battle during his growing up days, so he knows how does it feel when someone made fun of the way he stammered. The actor has also spoken about how he overcame the problem (with daily speech therapy ) which at one point he thought would be detrimental to his dreams of becoming a hero.

We are glad that Hrithik once again spoke about this issue. The actor’s post will definitely boost the morale of the student in question.
