Hrithik Roshan Reveals Health Ordeal After Being Spotted In Elbow Crutches; Says, “My Body Has Its Own ON/OFF Button”

Actor Hrithik Roshan recently made headlines when he attended filmmaker Goldie Behl’s birthday celebration on Saturday; fans were instantly worried after spotting him walking with elbow crutches. Later, Hrithik took to Instagram to explain the story behind his temporary knee issue. He shared that his left knee suddenly decided to “switch off” for two days and mentioned feeling irritated all day.

Hrithik addressed the concern humorously, describing how his knee “went off” unexpectedly. He also recounted a funny on-set moment where he kept saying “lunch” instead of “dinner,” leaving everyone amused. On Sunday, Hrithik posted on Instagram, saying, “Each body part comes with its own ON/OFF button. My left leg uses this feature as a birthright. So do the left shoulder and right ankle. Just goes OFF. It’s a mood. This simple feature has given me experiences most humans don’t get.”

He added humorously, “I find myself smugly walking around with a head full of neurons specialised in sudden hopelessness. A proud owner of a unique synapse system that creates dark tunnels and warp-speed sinking into many kinds of abyss. All of this gives me mental pathways unique to the rest of the species,” (sic).

HR Shares A Hillarious Anecdote

Hrithik also shared a hilarious on-set anecdote, saying, “Imagine I’m on a serious courtroom set, and my line is ‘Would you like to come home for dinner?’ But my tongue has OFF’ed dinner, so I keep inviting them over for ‘lunch’ instead—since lunch is still ON.”

He revealed that after several attempts, the director decided to move on, probably attributing the slip to “strange providence.” Hrithik described his internal struggle: “First, a surprise at saying the wrong word. Then, hands thrown up at repeating the mistake. A deep frown between takes, pretending to investigate (Joey style). An audacious nose flick (Salman style). And finally, uncontrollable laughter at this secret conspiracy with myself—disguised as ‘trying to hide embarrassment’ in front of the slightly concerned crew.”

Looking ahead, Hrithik is set to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4 and is also co-producing Saba Azad’s upcoming project, Storm.
