Hrithik Roshan reveals what made him say ‘yes’ to Vikram Vedha: The role was challenging

Actor Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for the release of this upcoming movie Vikram Vedha which also stars Saif Ali Khan. As the movie is just a day ahead of its release, Hrithik revealed what made him say ‘yes’ to the Vikram Vedha remake. During a group interview, Hrithik said that it was the challenges that made him say yes to the film.

The War actor said, “Phirse ye karna bohot hi mushkil kyuki phirse aisi script, aisi writing, aise directors milna, I think bohot mushkil hoga. The best part of Vikram Vedha was, being a part of this writing, this screenplay, this film. That was the best part. Vedha is a very interesting character, bohot challenging tha but every time I was doing something, I was seeing it in the context to the rest of the film. Maine ye film ki hai kyuki isme joh mera part hai, it is a very interesting part in a mind-blowing film, so that is how I look at it. This is an incredible movie to be in, in which I’m doing a very special part but this is a part that’s what I have enjoyed being an actor in this film if that makes any sense. As an actor I was doing my part in the painting, this is one shade that exists in the painting. It’s not the painting.”

Earlier, the Super 30 actor even spoke about people comparing him with south superstar Vijay Sethupathi who played Vedha in the original movie. To which, Hrithik said that he can’t reach Vijay’s amazing level as Vedha.

At an event, Hrithik Roshan said, “I know how amazingly Vijay Sethupathi did the same part. I can’t in my dreams think that I would achieve that level. Yet, I have done my best and I am happy with what I have done.”

Vikram Vedha is an official remake of the Tamil hit film which R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi headlined. The movie is to release on September 30.
