Huma Qureshi's Cousin Brother Asif Qureshi Killed By Teenagers Over Parking Dispute In Delhi

A man in Delhi lost his life after a fight over scooter parking turned violent. The victim, 42-year-old Asif Qureshi, was attacked outside his home in the Nizamuddin area around 10 pm on Thursday night. He ran a chicken business and was also a cousin of Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi.

Huma Qureshi’s Cousin Brother Murdered Over Scooter Parking

The incident started when Asif asked his neighbour to move a scooter that was blocking the entrance to his house. This led to a heated argument. The neighbour left after the fight, threatening to return. Shortly after, he came back with his brother, and both of them allegedly attacked Asif with a sharp weapon.

Asif was rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Police have arrested the two men accused of the attack.

Asif’s wife, Shaheen Asif Qureshi, spoke about what happened that night. She said a neighbour had parked a scooter right outside their house. Asif politely asked him to move it, but the man became abusive and warned that he would come back. Minutes later, he returned with his brother, and the two attacked Asif with a weapon. Shaheen called her brother-in-law for help, but by the time he arrived, Asif had lost too much blood and had already died.

She also claimed this was not the first time the accused had tried to harm her husband. Asif’s uncle, Saleem Qureshi (Huma Qureshi’s father), also shared his account. He said Asif was only trying to keep the entrance clear, but the situation turned violent and led to his nephew’s death.

Delhi Police have registered a case and are investigating. The incident has left the community in shock and raised concerns about rising violence over small issues.
