Irrfan Khan to act in ‘Life In A… Metro’ sequel?

The much-appreciated 2007 film ‘Life In A… Metro’ is soon to have a sequel. Actor Irrfan Khan, who played a pivotal role in the film, will be a part of the sequel as well. ‘Life In A… Metro’ dealt with various complications that are familiar to problems predominantly faced by the urban population residing in metro cities; such as, extramarital relationships, stress, heartbreak and more.

“We are still working on the script. The sequel will have a completely different story. We are not carrying forward the story of the couples. There will be four love stories set in Mumbai. It’s too early for us to reveal details about it,” a source said to a leading daily.

The film originally starred Irrfan Khan, Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali Sodhi, Konkona Sensharma, Shilpa Shetty Kundra among others. Cast for the sequel is not finalized yet. Music director Pritam is likely to be brought on board once more the project.
