After an official announcement and a short teaser of Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Jabariya Jodi’, the makers have now released its first look and we can’t take our eyes off the lead pair’s desi camaraderie.

Also starring Aparshakti Khurana, Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, Gopal Dutt, Javed Jaaferi and Chandan Roy Sanyal, the film is directed by Prashant Singh. The first look sees Parineeti and Sidharth dressed in their quirky best, taking a selfie with an unconscious groom. The poster does justice to the storyline of the film, which revolves around groom kidnapping, popularly termed as ‘pakadwa vivaah’.
It is however, Sid and Pari’s chemistry that grabs all the attention.
The film will see Sidharth playing a Bihari thug who abducts grooms and gets them forcefully married.

Apart from this project, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Vikram Batra’s biopic, co-produced by Dharma Production. Parineeti Chopra, on the other hand, has quite an interesting line up of films including ‘Kesari’ with Akshay Kumar, ‘Sandeep Aur Pink Faraar’ and ‘Namaste England’ with his good friend and ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor Arjun Kapoor.
