#JantaCurfew: Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Varun Dhawan applaud our unsung heroes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the people of India to observe ‘Janta Curfew’ on March 22 between 7 am to 9 pm. He also asked people to come to their houses’ front door or balcony to clap or ring bells at 5 pm for five minutes. This gesture is to thank the workers who are doing their best to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus by performing their duties at this risky situation. Videos from all across the country are doing the rounds where citizens are seen either clapping or beating utensils from their balconies to show their gratitude.

Also, our Bollywood celebs who had earlier pledged to support the ‘Janta Curfew’ are seen coming to their balconies and clapping. Kangana Ranaut is currently in her hometown. She, along with her entire family has clapped. Her sister Rangoli Chandel shared the video on Twitter.
